I am taking part in this walk to raise money to help people with this heartbreaking disease. 

My lovely Nan has been diagnosed with Dementia and seeing first hand the affect it is having on her and our family has made me want to bring awareness and raise money to help people suffering with Alzheimer’s and Dementia. Our family has experienced this horrible disease previously when my Grandad was diagnosed with Alzheimer’s and sadly passed away with this many years ago. Along with my Mum, Sister, Aunty and Cousins we are walking as a group named ‘Val’s Gal’s’ in tribute to my Nan (Valerie).
