Story

Dear all,

In August we will be attempting to cycle from London to Berlin, covering over 1200km completely unsupported. We will be starting from the Olympic Stadium in Stratford on Saturday 11th and (hopefully!) finishing at The Brandenburg Gate on Saturday 18th. Up until a couple of months ago neither of us had been on a bike since we were about 15 so we are anticipating this to be quite a challenge!

As most of you reading this will know, we tragically lost a member of the original team, our good friend Tim Ventre, in an accident earlier this year. We have asked his family to nominate a charity and we will be riding for this charity in his name.

The Ventre's have chosen the wonderful charity Zoe's Place in West Derby, Liverpool. This fantastic charity is a hospice that cares for babies and young toddlers and you can read more about the great work they do here:

We have set a fundraising target of £3000 but are hoping to smash through this. A special thanks goes to Oliver Yeates at clickymedia.co.uk who are supporting the team very generously.
Thanks a lot for all your support.
Many thanks
Rich & Matty
