Thankyou for taking the time to visit our just giving page. 31 year old Jade had recently qualified as a nurse and securing her dream job as a staff nurse, she was the unlucky 1 in 7 to get diagnosed with breast cancer. Jade has always loved an adventure and is often the spontaneous type when it comes to challenges, however due to her illness she can’t participate and we’ll be doing the challenge on her behalf.
On the 11th September 2022 myself, Harry (Jade’s partner), Kayleigh (Jade’s close friend), John (Jade’s stepdad), Tony (Jade’s uncle) and Matt (Family Friend) are going to be taking part in the London to Brighton bike ride. Starting at Clapham Common to Brighton pier, a great 56 mile stretch.
Macmillan have gone above and beyond to make Jade feel supported and less distressed after such big news. Any money raised will go towards helping them continue their efforts in supporting so many others as with Jade. Importantly helping others detect cancer early.
Thanks for supporting my fundraising. At Macmillan, we give people with cancer everything we’ve got. If you’re diagnosed, your worries are our worries. We’re doing whatever it takes. But without your help we can’t support everyone who needs us.
