So we are up for another challenge! This time London to Paris in aid of Hospice in the Weald. We'll be setting off on 1st of August for 4 days of cycling - not long to go now!!

We didn't know much about Hospice in the Weald until my [Ruth] Grandad went into the hospice in Pembury in April. The whole family were overwhelmed by the care Grandad received in the last two days of his life, along with the attention that was also given to us. They could not have done more.

After our experience, finding out that the government contribute only a low proportion of their funding and that Hospice in the Weald is therefore highly dependent on donations from the public, we immediately decided that we would do something to raise money for this very worthwhile cause. Grandad could not have been in a better place and we are doing this to give something back to them.
