Story

I'm running the London Marathon for Prostate Cancer UK. Prostate cancer kills 1 in 8 men. That's one dad, partner, brother, son, grandad, uncle or mate. I'm raising money to help fund lifesaving research and support for men and their families affected by prostate cancer.

I lost my father to prostate cancer 11 years ago. He was 64 years old, a lover of sports, a good and really cool dad, had a great sense of humour and a laugh that made his eyes crinkle - he was my number 1 fan. He would have been 75 years old today and I miss him very much. I am running to stop prostrate cancer from claiming any more fathers, brothers, sons, uncles, friends with lifesaving research and provide support to families like mine that lost a loved one.

I have never run a marathon before and to be honest I'm nervous. But if there's a time in my life to put my fears aside about running a marathon and RUN for a cause I believe in, this is it and it is now. Please support me.

See you at the finish line!
