Prostate cancer affects 1 in 8 men in the UK. That's thousands of dads, grandads, partners, brothers, uncles, sons and mates. But it doesn't have to be this way. The money you raise will help fund lifesaving research into better tests and treatments

Story

After a Couch to 5K course last year, I've enjoyed running short distances, but recently an opportunity arose to participate in the London Landmarks Half Marathon, which really appealed to me as I know they'll be plenty of interesting things to look at as I drag myself round. Choosing a charity wasn't easy as there are so many worthwhile causes, however, my lovely father in-law was recently diagnosed with stage 4 Prostate Cancer, and he's doing brilliantly with treatment, but I really felt running for Prostrate Cancer UK was an ideal way to demonstrate how much he means to us as a family. Your support and any small donation is much appreciated and will help provide much needed funds for future research and support for men and their families affected by prostate cancer.

Prostate cancer kills 1 in 8 men. That's one dad, partner, brother, son, grandad, uncle or mate.
