Prostate Cancer UK has a simple ambition - to stop men dying from prostate cancer. Through shifting the science over the next 10 years to focus on radical improvements in diagnosis, treatment, prevention, and support, we will stop prostate cancer being a killer.

Story

I'm running the London Landmarks Half Marathon for Prostate Cancer UK. Prostate cancer kills 1 in 8 men. That's one dad, partner, brother, son, grandad, uncle or mate. I'm raising money to help fund lifesaving research and support for men and their families affected by prostate cancer.

Research Prostate Cancer UK funds:

- Developing a prostate cancer vaccine        

- Improve treatment of prostate cancer in the bone  

- AMACR targeted drugs for treating advanced prostate cancer

-  Improve radiography - PREVENTION and methods to better access the spread of prostate cancer

- Personalised treatment for different cells’ response
