Story
I am running the London Landmarks half marathon to raise awareness of prostate cancer and the importance of getting checked. If caught early then prognosis is pretty good. I was diagnosed with prostate cancer in early 2020. Fortunately it was caught reasonably early and could be treated. The issue for many men is that they get a late diagnosis due to either not getting a regular check or not having symptoms. I am running to raise awareness and hopefully encourage men to get checked and also to raise money to support the important work Prostate cancer UK do in helping those impacted by this disease.
Almost 50,000 men every year are diagnosed with this disease making it the most commonly diagnosed cancer. Please give and share to help make more people aware so men aren't diagnosed too late!. Thanks.
