Story

The London Christmas Party Show have been supporting the NSPCC as its official charity for the last couple of years. Like many charities at the moment the NSPCC have lost huge amounts of their fundraising revenue due to cancelled events and the current climate. Now more than ever it's important to support charities carrying out such vital work for our society.  They recently launched an appeal called 'Still Here for Children' which aims to inform the public that they are still here for children whilst highlighting the urgent fundraising need to raise as much money as possible to continue with their vital services to prevent child abuse.

Despite having to close Childline’s night service for the first time ever and seeing a 30% drop in volunteer hours due to counsellors self-isolating, they are battling to still be there for children. Their counsellors have carried out over 1,700 counselling sessions about coronavirus in the last three weeks alone and during the past week Childline has delivered 363 counselling sessions where children have experienced physical, sexual, emotional abuse or neglect – up nearly a fifth from the week before

Every child is worth fighting for so if you can spare any money to help support the NSPCC we will be extremely grateful.

Thanks for your support
