Story
Jenny Allen, Jamie Aarons and Alex Berry. Three Ladies associated to Lomond Mountain Rescue Team will consecutively run to all 19 “trig” points in the 1000 square mile area covered by Lomond Mountain Rescue Team (MRT). They will need to cover 60 miles (100km) on foot over rough and boggy land, as well as a total ascent of 16,404ft (5000m).
Jenny suggested to Jamie and Alex that at some point it would be interesting to visit all the trig points on the Lomond search patch and instantly a challenge was born. The three have since been completing recce trips and planning if it would be possible to visit all 19 "Trigs" consecutively within 24hours. The answer to this is yet unknown but over the weekend of the 6th/7th of April, with help from their extensive support crew, they are going to give it their best shot.
The purpose of this challenge is to raise awareness and funds for the vital mountain search and rescue volunteer work that Lomond Mountain rescue Team completes.
