London Marathon 2024 · 21 April 2024 ·

On Sunday 21st April 2024 #TeamHospiceUK 2024 are running to raise funds to champion and support the work of more than 200 adult and children hospices across the country.

Story

In April 2024 I will be running the London Marathon raising money for Hospice UK.

After volunteering this year at the 2023 London Marathon with the Cancer Research team, I was so inspired by the runners and fundraisers that I made my charity application the same day! Now in July I am very grateful to be one of the first 10 people to make it onto the Hospice team.

As many of you will know, the Hospice charity is very close to my heart, having lost my Mum Lorraine to cancer in 2020. I still struggle to talk about that incredibly difficult time, but our local hospice ensured kindness, dignity, and respect, to my mum and our family, during what was a very hard time in hospital settings due to covid.

I appreciate times are tough financially for many right now, so anything you can donate will be greatly appreciated and will really help me push through as I train for my first ever marathon!

Thank you for your support to myself and the charity 🌻💛
