Story
The marathon.
Here’s where I stand at the moment:
(actually I’m not standing at the moment, I’m making the most of sitting while I can) July 09 - British 10k run - £170 raised! September 09 - 3 Peaks Challenge - £1300 raised! April 2010 - London Marathon www.justgiving.com/loisdoesthemarathon July 2010 – Nicaragua clean water project October 2010 – Turning 30. Maybe the biggest challenge of them all??! (clearly my 30th birthday is not going to be a sponsored event, just a milestone that will need to be sufficiently marked!). So I find myself putting together another justgiving page in the hope of raising some well needed pennies for Kith & Kids.Kith and Kids is a charity we sponsor through my work place and an amazing charity all round. Everything raised will go towards funding projects that support young people with disabilities. Many of their service users have learning, physical and/or sensory disabilities. Kith and Kids supports its members who have a disability by providing effective projects and services tailored to individual needs. Their overall aim is to empower families living with disability to overcome their isolation and access support and fun-based activities. www.kithandkids.org.uk
