We fund research into type 1 diabetes to find a cure for type 1 diabetes

Story

Hello my self and my eldest son and close friends are taking on the Yorkshire three peaks challenge, in the hope of raising £1000 for JDRF.

On the 23th of November 2021 my 9yr son was diagnosed with type 1 diabetes after a couple of weeks of unusual eating and drinking habits. After been admitted to hospital he became unwell and placed on a drip, with the correct care from JCUH he soon became better and me and my wife and sons began on the life changing journey.

After we struggled to come to terms with his new found way of life we have started to make sense of the new normal and adapt to give our little boy the best normal life possible. Now i have decided to try and raise some funds and give something back to the amazing charity that are trying to cure type one and not just manage it, we have had some much support from JCUH diabetes team family and friends and we would be forever grateful for anyone to make a donation to our cause no matter how big or small.
