Story

The Lockdown Lock-In is a livestreamed night of comedy, music and poetry in aid of The National Autistic Society. As you probably know, this lockdown period has been especially hard on charities due to a reduction in fundraising activities, and also extremely hard on autistic people, who generally struggle with changes in routines and isolation in their day-to-day life, so we'd like to help out in any way we can with this fundraising show.

The Lockdown Lock-In returns on Thursday 18th March, from 15:00-23:00 GMT, for 8 hours of comedy, music and entertainment at twitch.tv/MarkGrimshaw. The show features new content from Thom Bee, Maddy Churchhouse, Matt Davenport, Jake Donaldson, Neil Elston, Friz Frizzle, AJ Hill, Matt Hoss, Edy Hurst, Andrew Marsh, Laura Monmoth, Noid Culture, John Porter, Eliott Simpson, Kirstie Summers, Superfriends, Anna Thomas, Nathan Tommis, Umby Winters and Harry Wright, plus highlights from the two previous Lockdown Lock-In events.

The first show took place on Thursday 28th May 2020, and is still available to watch on YouTube. The lineup for the first show featured hosts Mark Grimshaw and John Porter, plus appearances from Troy Hawke (Leicester Comedy Festival Best Show Nominee 2020), Tim Key (Taskmaster, This Time with Alan Partridge), Jack Carroll (Britain's Got Talent, Live at The Apollo), Ed & Oucho (CBBC), Harriet Dyer (BBC Radio 4), Tom Little (Leicester Mercury Comedian of The Year 2015), Kate McCabe, Paul "Silky" White, Anna Thomas, Tony Wright, Will Andrews, Matt Hoss, Sam Serrano and Pope Lonergan, plus music from Fred's House, Jay Foreman, Edy Hurst, Friz Frizzle and Charlotte Cropper.

The second show was broadcast on Friday 11th September 2020 from 19:45. The show featured appearances from James Acaster, James Allen, Thomas Arends, Mr Badger, Thom Bee, Black Liver (Ruth Cockburn and Keith Carter), Mike Carter, Tony Cowards, Paul Dennis, Jake Donaldson, Friz Frizzle, Mark Grimshaw, AJ Hill, Matt Hoss, Adam Hughes, Edy Hurst, Tom King, Raul Kohli, Athena Kugblenu, Sam Lake, Julian Lee, Laura Lexx, Tom Little, Kathryn Mather, Callum McAllister (Toodles & The Hectic Pity), Kate McCabe, Luke Meredith, Kat Molinari, Zandro Morreale (Triple Sundae), Dan Nightingale, The Punguin, Wanda Roslyn, Sam Serrano, Mark Simmons, Arthur Smith, Somali & Me (Will Andrews and Tony Wright), Andrew Summers (Eat Defeat), Kirstie Summers, Danny Sutcliffe, Anna Thomas, Ben Turner, Stevie Vegas, Luke Wright and Bilal Zafar.

We'd greatly appreciate anything you can donate to the National Autistic Society as part of this fundraiser, and in return we hope to give you a couple of hours of fantastic entertainment.
