If you make a donation on this page we will send you a printed copy of our Lockdown cookbook.  You will receive a printed booklet containing 28 recipes.  After the donation is complete, please check your e-mail receipt for details on how to arrange delivery.  We are asking for a £4 minimum donation to cover the costs of printing and postage.

Lockdown is a family cookbook celebrating the cooking and baking taking place during the COVID-19 lockdown in spring 2020. The book has been written to raise money for Martin House Hospice. COVID-19 has had a huge impact on Martin House with many of their usual fundraising activities cancelled. They stand to lose millions of pounds of fundraising over this period.

Martin House provides care for children and young people with life limiting conditions. They support families from across West, North and East Yorkshire, both at the hospice in Boston Spa and in the community.

Our family knows only too well the vital care and support Martin House offer at the worst time in a family’s life. Our daughter and niece Matilda was cared for by the amazing team at the end of her short life. The care, support and memories they helped create were invaluable.

The book contains a collection of 28 recipes donated by friends, family and local businesses.  Thank you for your support and we hope you enjoy the recipes.
