Story

This May a team from Portland Street Dental Practice is raising money for Hywel Dda Health Charities, more specifically for our local Bronglais Hospital in Aberystwyth.

Our dentists, nurses, hygienists and Daeng our practice cleaner, are raising money by running, walking, rowing and cycling (any means possible!) to highlight some of our treasured local landmarks that we haven't been able to visit during Covid19.

We'll be ensuring we follow the government's lockdown guidelines at all times, so while some will be doing their challenges at landmarks near their homes, some of us will be admiring our local landmarks in spirit; for example, Huw is rowing the Rheidol River on a rowing machine, and Ceri is stair-climbing Pen Dinas hill. We'll keep you up to date with each members' personal challenge!

To spread the word and get as much support for our local hospital and its staff, our fundraisers will be tagging friends and family to encourage them to take part in the Local Landmark Challenge too! If you get nomiated by a friend or family member, please donate £5 before starting your own challenge and passing it on! Look out for #locallandmarkchallenge
