Robin was diagnosed with Leukaemia in June 2022 just 1 month before his 3rd birthday and has started the 3 year+ programme of treatment. It's a tough course and just as hard for his parents who are living this process with Robin.

Having had cancer himself, Robin's dad Karl has run the London Marathon raising funds for Children with Cancer twice before however this time seems more emotional.

Having been friends with Karl for over 25 years, and being rather fond of little Robin, I want to raise as much money as possible in Robin's name for Children with Cancer UK. So Team Robin has been formed with that goal in mind. It's an ambitious target, but one I'm sure we can reach with your help.

Children with Cancer UK do some fantastic work funding research as well as supporting families going through this illness.

The team brings back a host of friends who have run together and raised funds for this superb charity in the past.

This will be my 4th London Marathon and 4th time raising money for the wonderful charity.  But it's also a first - This will be my first ever marathon in fancy dress and given that I'm doing this for Robin, it only seems right that I run as Batman, so over the next few months, I'll be making my costume in the guise of Adam West's Batman.
