The Lord Mayor's Appeal Abseil Challenge 2023 · 4 July 2023 ·

The Lord Mayor’s Appeal aims to support our two charity partners, MQ Mental Health Research and Homewards - A Royal Foundation, who will be delivering ground breaking programmes that can help change people's lives and help create A Better City for All.

Story

Past Master Firefighter Alan Wells hung around  the Lloyd’s building on Tuesday 4th July undertaking the abseil challenge; one of the official events in aid of the Lord Mayor’s Appeal 2023.

Alan is no stranger to being suspended  on ropes from City buildings.  He abseiled Lloyd's of London in 2012 and the Leadenhall Building, commonly known as the Cheesegrater, in  2017  in aid of the Lord Mayor’s Appeal during those years.
