We are powered by people. We’re here to find a cure and improve lives, together.

Story

On Friday 19 August 2022, at Blaenbwch Farm, Builth Wells, LD2 3HU, I will attempt to break the British Lamb Shearing Record by shearing 873 or more lambs in 9 hours of work.  Starting at 5am, this is a huge challenge both physically and mentally.

I am taking the opportunity to ask people to sponsor my efforts in order to raise money for Parkinson's UK (and Wales Air Ambulance under a separate link).

My grandmother, Eileen Rees, suffered from Parkinson's and passed away in 2021 after a fall as a result of her illness.  I want to raise awareness of this illness and to raise much needed funds to support local people who are also living with this debilitating condition.

I hope to see lots of you on 19 August, and appreciate any and all donations.  Thank you so much for your support.

Anyone can get Parkinson’s. It gets worse over time and there’s no cure. Yet. Funding research into the most promising treatments, we’re getting closer to a cure. Until then, we're improving life for people with Parkinson’s, and the people in their lives. Together we'll find a cure.
