London Landmarks Half Marathon 2021 · 1 August 2021 ·

Anyone can get Parkinson’s. It gets worse over time and there’s no cure. Yet. Funding research into the most promising treatments, we’re getting closer to a cure. Until then, we're improving life for people with Parkinson’s, and the people in their lives. Together we'll find a cure.

Story

Hello!

In March 2020, I will be taking on another Half Marathon in order to raise money for Parkinson's UK Research. In May 2019 we managed to raise an amazing £580.00 and so I would love to raise another £350.00 this time around.

Parkinson's is a progressive neurological condition caused by a lack of Dopamine in the brain. Everyone experiences Parkinson's in different ways, but It can cause debilitating symptoms which dramatically reduce quality of life. Although there is not yet a cure, Parkinson's UK is one of many charities worldwide who are researching and funding life-changing research.

Your donation made here will go specifically towards Parkinson's UK Research: https://www.parkinsons.org.uk/research

As many of you know, this charity is particularly close my my heart and I am extremely grateful for any donations you're able to make.

Thank you, and see you all in March!

Alex
