Thank you for supporting the Llanrwst District Nurses.
We, as a team, are going to ride the Velocity 2 zipline in Bethesda on the 15th June to raise money for our equipment fund. We are hoping to raise funds towards an automatic Doppler machine and a bladder scanner, the Doppler will reduce clients appointment time from approximately 1 hour per patient to around 15 minutes, benefitting our patients' care & outcomes, as well as our capacity to see more clients.
A Doppler is an ultrasound scan which tells us, as part of a full assessment, the quality of the circulation in patients with long term wounds or ulcers to their legs - indicating the best choice of treatment for the best outcome.
The bladder scanner will assist us to perform non invasive investigations of the bladder in a patients home to assist us in diagnosing and treating continence issues.
Please donate if you can, but an online share would be great.
