In 2017, on Friday the 10th of February, I turned 30.

My family and friends all came to my party to celebrate with me. It was an amazing night.

However, the one person I wanted to be there, my wonderful Granda, could not join us. And so I decided to donate my birthday money to a charity close to my family's heart.

Before he died it was planned that Granda would spend his last days at Ardgowan Hospice. He died before making it there but I still chose to donate to them for all the outstanding work they do.
