On Wednesday 15th March 2023, work colleagues from across various departments of Liverpool John Lennon Airport (LJLA) will be taking part in a Charity Corporate Football Event with Business Fives at Liverpool Goals North.

The Airport will be continuing our fundraising partnership with Alder Hey Children's Charity as we embark on our next challenge, which will be to raise £80,000 towards their new state of the art Surgical Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU).

This new surgical NICU is a joint initiative with the Liverpool Women's Hospital and will contain 18 individual family rooms.  Each room costs £80,000, which will enable parents and their families to be alongside their poorly new born babies whilst they receive expert care with state of the art innovative technology to monitor their condition.

I hope you will be able to help as many as our colleagues as possible on many fun and rewarding fundraising events ahead as we once again work together to meet this new target and provide Alder Hey with the necessary funding they require for this much needed Family Room Facility.
