Over 150,000 of us in the UK have MS. It’s unpredictable and different for everyone. But it doesn’t have to be this way. We’re the MS Society. We understand what life’s like with MS. We're here for you through the highs, lows and everything in between. Together, we are strong enough to stop MS.

Story

Lizzie Treip suffered from MS for many years. The courage and good humour with which she faced the condition was an inspiration for very many people.

In her last years she lived in the The Tree House, an extension to her home designed by 6a Architects, that became well known as an outstanding example of designing for disability.

Significant progress is now being made with developing treatments for this terrible disease. It will be too late for Lizzie, but this page is created by her family to help others benefit in the future.
