Story
On 25th June 2022 I am attempting the Chilllswim Lake Coniston end to end challenge, a continuous 5.25 miles.
I'm using the power of swimming to raise money for Level Water, who use the power of swimming to improve the lives of children with disabilities.
I have always dreamt of embarking on this swim since growing up in the Lake District, spending summers splashing around ‘Wild Cat Island’ on Coniston water. When I mustered the courage to take on the challenge it seemed selfish to simply satisfy my dream rather than use the opportunity to fundraise for a worthy cause.
I believe swimming to be a lifelong important skill which should be taught to all children of all abilities.
