Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

I am running in the chidren's race at the Brighton Half Marathon to raise money for the Lily Foundation. If you haven't yet heard of the LILY Foundation it's a charity that was set up by my family in memory of my cousin Lily who died when she was only 8 months old of a genetic disorder called Mitochodrial Disease. The charity raises money to find a cure for Mitochondrial Disease and to provide support for families living with the condition. We all miss Lily very much and raising money for the charity by taking part in events like this one is a fun and happy way of remembering her. I hope you will support me by coming to cheer me on or giving a small amount of money to help the charity do it's important work. Thank you. Love form Lizzie xxx
