Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
Sunday, 21st March is fast approaching when I take part in the Fleet Half Marathon. I shall be running in memory of my beautiful sister, Melissa, who died from Cystic Fibrosis in November 2008.
Some of you may well remember that I so wanted to run in last year's event with Melissa's friends. Unfortunately, due to a skiing accident where I damaged my knee, I couldn't take part. It has taken nine months to heal and for me to start training again. I was devastated last March and thought I was letting Melissa down. Running is not my forte but I have been training hard and am more determined than ever to do well.
If any of you could spare some cash to help others with CF, it would be very much appreciated.
I miss Melissa so much, but I know that she will be watching and laughing her head off at me doing the run!
I am running with a lot of friends, including teachers from Everest Community College who are also running for Cystic Fibrosis. By donating on this page, you will also be helping Debbie, Charmaine, Adam, James, Emma, Neil and Claire get round the course!!!!
Thank you!!
