Big Fun Run Manchester 2013 · 25 August 2013 ·

Motor Neurone Disease moves fast. It takes away time, it takes away independence and it has no cure. Every day we support people affected by MND. We fund ground-breaking research. We campaign for better care. We’re here for everyone who needs us. Because with MND, every day matters.

Story

Firstly, thank you for visiting my page and a second thank you if you actually decide to sponsor me.

I have decided to take part in this run on Sunday 25th August 2013 to raise money for the Motor Neurone Disease Association, a charity extremely close to my heart.

On deciding whether or not you are going to make a donation please keep a couple of things in mind:

1. I have very short legs

2. My PE report from school always used the word 'enthusiastic' and never 'talented'

3. During the last run I took part in I was overtaken by a child in a wheelchair, carrying an oxygen tank and being pushed by Anthony Cotton (Sean from Corrie)

4.  A friend of mine used to burst out laughing on a regular basis as she walked past me in the gym as I was "the sweatiest person she had ever seen"

From the above I hope you can understand that even though it is a fairly short distance it will take a lot of effort for me to complete this task and remember that it's for an excellent cause.

Every little helps.
