'Let’s make youth homelessness history.

Next Friday, the 21st, I'm taking on the challenge of the London Sleep Out, and swapping my lovely warm nest of a bed for a sleeping bag on the cold, hard, unwelcoming concrete floor in a big old warehouse in Shoreditch to support Centrepoint in their mission of ending youth homelessness by 2037!

Centrepoint has long been one of my chosen charities; for me, seeing young people living on the street for whatever reason is utterly heartbreaking and see homelessness as the bottom of a long slow and very sad story. A story that there but for the grace of God, family and or fortune goes any one of mine or yours.

I am looking forward to playing my part next week and am hoping that I can raise a significant amount of funds to make something of a difference to someone.

.'....in the midst of the UK’s worst-ever renting crisis, securing stable housing has become even more difficult for young homeless individuals. The barriers to a secure future have never been higher—but together, we can change that.

We are working to provide real solutions. To date, Centrepoint has created 50 homes in London through our Independent Living , and we have a pipeline of another 297 homes in London and Manchester. Through holistic support for young people experiencing homelessness, we believe we can make a real difference to their futures.

But we need your help to make our mission a reality.'

My original target was £350 which I have already exceeded thank you to everyone who has supported me so far. I'd like to raise the target for this last week to £2000 and together we can help to end youth homelessness. For good.
