I am running the Bristol 10k in memory of 3 friends I have lost to this terrible disease in the last 6months. The latest friend to lose their life to cancer encouraged me to start running again after I did C25K back in 2018 but then lapsed. Besides getting me back into running she motivated me to progress my running to 10k. Last year she ran the 10k for the first time and asked me to do it with her. I didn’t feel I was ready nor did I want to pay the £34 for the privilege. Little did I know I wouldn’t be given a second chance. 

Any donations gratefully received as they all received excellent care from St Peter’sHospice and I know sadly there will be many more people needing their help.

St Peter's Hospice is Bristol's ONLY adult hospice caring for local people with life-limiting illnesses. Our commitment is to improve the quality of life of patients while extending care and support to their families and loved ones.All of our care is provided free of charge, but it costs us around £20,000 a day to provide that care. For most of this money we rely on Gifts in Wills, donations, fundraising and our shops.
