Story
Update:
Despite the heat, I did it! And in 4:58:03, just inside my goal of 5 hours. Many thanks to everyone who sponsored me - and if you haven't already, it's not too late!

I'm running the London Marathon on behalf of Connect, a charity which supports people living with aphasia. Aphasia is an 'invisible' disability that affects communication - usually caused by stroke. People with aphasia find it hard to speak, read, write, understand language and use numbers.
My inspiration is my uncle Alwyn, who has had aphasia since 1995 as a result of a stroke.
Any amount will be very gratefully received, and will give me the incentive I need to get round the 26.2 miles!
Liz
Note from justgiving:
Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to sponsor me: Connect - the Communication Disability Network will receive your money faster and, if you are a UK taxpayer, an extra 28% in tax will be added to your gift at no cost to you.
