Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

On October 21st, I will be running my first ever half marathon, raising money for Ovacome, the Ovarian Cancer Support Network.

I am running for Ovacome at the request of my wonderful friend Katie Law, who passed away in February. Following her diagnosis last summer, I told Katie I wanted to do a charity event in support of her fight, and asked that she pick the charity she would like me to raise for. I was originally supposed to be completing the Brighton half under her watchful eye (...and, more than likely, piss-taking giggles!) in the crowd, but sadly she passed away weeks before the event. Katie chose Ovacome because of the help they had given her, and was keen to raise awareness of their work.

I have never run this far before and am currently devoting 6 nights a week to training. Any donations of any size are very welcome indeed and much appreciated!

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

So please dig deep and donate now.

Thanks again,

Liz
