Ok so those of you who know me know I a) have chronic heart failure and b) (associated with that) have pulmonary hypertension. That's why I sound like I have just run a marathon when i have walked more than a hundred meters next to you!
So my little challenge to myself is to walk a mile a day for the length of Shaun's challenge (www.walescoastpathchallenge.co.uk)
For those of you who know I've been told not to push it, I won't!. I need my lungs and have no intention of making them worse, I have peeps I need to be here for!! but I will be doing it, even if it is quarter of a mile in four little sessions a day.
This is a great charity they provide advocacy and support and are working towards a respite centre that will be a benefit to families across Wales.
Autism can be something that shatters a family, and takes time to come to terms with and support to get through. Digging deep and loving loads are two family qualities. However, people with autism have such varying degrees across the spectrum that can also produce some of the most amazing minds in society.
I am proud to work with an amazing charity and people to raise awareness and raise funds to build on the support they already successfully manage!
The Autism Directory...
Helping individuals with autism and their families get the help they need. The Autism Directory provide an online directory covering the UK signposting to resources and support available. They also provide support to adults with autism to help them with self confidence and to live a more independent life through coaching, advocacy, practical support as well as helping them get into self employment. Their core belief is that everyone deserves the chance to create a life they love waking up to each day and a future to look forward to.
