I am a member of the Family Services Team at the hospice where I offer patients and families support in coming to terms with the social effects of a life-limiting illness. 

In particular, I support families with children and provide therapeutic art for children experiencing the loss of a parent or loved one.  I provide children with the opportunity to tell their story and to make sense of their experience of witnessing illness, medical treatment and loss, to find ways of expressing difficult emotions associated with grief and to make memory boxes to reassure them that their loved one will not be forgotten.       

Please support me in my challenge to raise £1,000 towards hospice funds and towards continuing to provide this service for families affected by a life-limiting illness.
