I will be walking with my dog at least 2.5kms (the length of the Hydro pipeline) every day during May in order to raise funds for the completion of the Kagando Hydro Project.

The Hydro project is important to me, but it is even more important for the safe, effective care of the patients, young and old, who are treated in the hospital day by day.

The Hydro is also important for helping to reduce the revenue costs of the hospital and make a significant step towards self-sufficiency.

Fund raising has been tricky during this time of COVID, but despite this, Friends of Kagando has raised more than half the funds. We have enough money for the next phase which is laying the pipeline, but need to raise the money for the final phase including the cost of the turbines to complete the project - a total of £450,000.
