I didn't drink for a long time, 23 years in fact.....and then I discovered myself.....and white wine...and baileys...and cherry sours...and .....oh I could go on!

To prove to myself that I could go a day without a glass of wine, I have decided to go booze free for the whole of January.

I dream of the glass of Tin Pot Hut I intend to drink on Sunday 1st Feb, if you'd like to join me, I shall be in the Old Bridge Hotel celebrating!

In the meantime, I'm hoping to raise money for cancer research. It's a charity close to my heart as a cancer survivor myself, 25 years in remission from Lymphoma. My daughter Lily and myself are also poster girls for their latest campaign.

So, come on.....donate whatever you can to support me and all of those people fighting or living with cancer, and in memory of all those who weren't quite as fortunate as me.
