I'm taking part in Walk of Light 2022 on 26th March, in support of Blood Cancer UK. I will be walking at least 12km with my sister, and we hope to be joined by mum and dad for some of the walk. 

In September 2020 our lovely dad was diagnosed with acute myeloid leukaemia. He has bravely battled this amid numerous hospital stays and whilst also battling Covid and C-Diff, which kept him in hospital and unable to see his loved ones for long periods of time. It has been extremely tough for both mum and dad during this time – cancer has such a immense effect on everyone it touches. Despite this, he has remained positive and determined to beat his illness, which is testament to his strength and resilience!

 People affected by blood cancer faced an unimaginably difficult year last year and I'm taking part in Walk of Light to support everyone affected by blood cancer and to light the way to a brighter future. For more information about Blood Cancer UK please visit www.bloodcancer.org.uk.
