Finished in 6:08:55 position 7821 out of nearly 14000 so not too bad. I did the first half marathon in 2:20 which is pretty good for me but I hit the wall at about mile 20 and had to alternate run - walk the rest of the way. It was very hot and I felt really sick towards the end. Everything is more or less in working order today but I'm really tired and my knees hurt. I'm pleased I did it but I never never want to do that again ever. Thanks everybody for all your support and kind messages they have really meant a lot to me.

8/4/2011 just about to have my last osteopath treatment before the race. I am really nervous now. Have just found out that you have to finish in under 6 hours so roads can be re- opened and you can't use headphones so no music! I'm really not sure I can do it.

4/4/11 All the training is pretty much done now - thank goodness. My back is suffering a bit so I'm off to the osteopath to be cracked back into shape. Bit nervous about the big day but just want to get it done now.
