One of my very earliest memories of my Grandma was that of being in her kitchen baking together. 

We used to bake cupcakes together ( and eat them together!!)

My Grandma was a very special lady to me, we spent 27 years together, until, sadly, she was diagnosed with a rare blood disorder, just a few months away from her 91st birthday.

Grandma passed away just weeks after this diagnosis, leaving her 3 Children, 6 Grandchildren and 10 Great Grandchildren with a great big hole in their lives.

My wonderful cousin, Charlotte has raised almost £600 for the Hospice in running the York Marathon last month - and she has been a great inspiration in my decision to fundraise.

I will never be able to thank the Hospice enough for their kindness and support at the end of my wonderful Grandma's life.
