Story

On Sunday 1st June, a group of girls from Cheltenham Ladies' College and I, ran a 5k run in London called the Colour Run. It is a charity event and many fund raise for it. I would like to raise some money by setting up this page,  for Great Ormond Street Hospital, where our beautiful friend Emma, was looked after and cared for in her last months. I have known Emma since I was 11 and was in a boarding house with her, for two years, where we shared a dorm. Emma suffered from a rare condition called Churg-Strauss syndrome, which affected her heart. She couldn't battle the infection and died yesterday, the 30th of May aged 15.

Emma's family, Rhona & James Hatchley and her 2 sisters Kitty (17) and Annabel (14)  have chosen to raise funds for the Rheumatology and Cardiology/Cardiac intensive care units (JH15) at GOSH who cared for Emma over the last 3 months.

Thank you for any donation that you can make. x
