Fundraising for The Brain Tumour Charity
Over COVID, I watched my friend Caz lose her Dad to a brain tumour. Geoffrey was the former Mayor of the Wirral, raising many thousands of pounds for his chosen charities as well as being an avid member of the local sailing community.
Unfortunately, COVID meant that Geoffrey didn't receive access to 'normal' health services. By the time his symptoms were recognised and diagnosed, it was unfortunately too late.
The Brain Tumour Charity is the world's leading brain tumour charity and the largest dedicated funder of research into brain tumours globally. Committed to saving and improving lives, we're moving further, faster to help every single person affected by a brain tumour. We're set on finding new treatments, offering the highest level of support and driving urgent change. And we're doing it right now. Because we understand that when you, or someone you love, is diagnosed with a brain tumour a cure really can't wait.
Please support me as I walk 50km in one day with Caz and our friends Lauren & Millie, as we raise money for this charity in a bid to understand brain tumours further and support those with a diagnosis.
