Story
LondonEnergy has supported The Felix Project since its inception in 2016. We have received incredible feedback from employees who volunteered in the depot Enfield depot once a month. This year, the team has decided to go further and our colleagues Kyran, Daniel, Jacques, Liviu, Shane, Alex, Gustav, and Mohamed will be running the Vitality Big Half Marathon end of August to raise funds for The Felix Project. Join us is wishing them the best of luck! Shockingly, 1.5 million adults in London struggle to afford to eat every day and 400,000 children are at risk of missing the next meal. Meanwhile, the UK food industry generates almost 2 million tonnes of good, edible surplus food each year. The Felix Project is a charity that tackles both of these issues head on. They collect good quality, surplus food from the food industry that cannot be sold and would otherwise go to waste, check it’s fresh and deliver it to over 400 front-line charities, primary schools and holiday programmes in London for those who simply cannot afford to buy regular, healthy food. LondonEnergy will match the amount raised by the team so please donate to show your support! £30 will deliver 165 meals to those that need it the most. £65 will deliver 355 meals to those that need it the most. £180 will deliver 1,000 meals to those that need it the most. £500 will deliver 2,750 meals to those that need it the most. Thank you for your donations !!!
