Our Story...
My family's world changed on the 24th May 2018 when I was told I had breast cancer. Our world shattered when on 16th August 2018 we were told it was Secondary Breast Cancer, as it had spread to my rib. Although manageable, SBC is currently incurable and life limiting.
I want to create as many memories as possible with my family. As part of that Jack and I are taking on challenges to raise awareness of SBC, to raise money. and hopefully inspire other people.
Shortly after doing the Brighton Marathon I found out I had cancer. I am still trying to run to help me with mindfulness as well as keep as physically strong as possible. I will be on treatment for the rest of my life. My medication at the moment makes me achy and tired but I want to still try to keep active. These events give me even more motivation and create memories for Jack and myself.
