Story
The current situation is devastating for so many aspects of our lives. With Covid-19 taking the lives of so many people we know and care for, I wanted to do something for a charity that is there for young people when they most need someone. For young people experiencing bereavement, it is important that they do not feel alone, and that they have someone who is willing to share the awful burden of grief.
With school closures, and a fall in income for charities such as Grief Encounter, it is vital that we do our bit to make sure that this kind of service is available when children really need it.
If you can spare even just £5, then that would be wonderful. If you could spread the word about this great cause, then that would be even better.
I am walking 26.2 miles, in a clockwise direction around Brockwell Park on Saturday 23rd May, rain or shine. That is 16 laps. Feel free to drop by and do a round with me. I'll start at 9am and should finish at around 5pm. I'll be the one with the Grief Encounter t-shirt.
Thanks a lot for your support.
