Story
Salaam Alaykum,
My name is Shabbir Khan, 19 Years old and I am a mad Liverpool fan! I was on Safeer TV on the 18/04/15 for a live show called Sadqa Charity Day.
My dad was also on the show, and you have heard his strong words "If any of my sons decided to support another team than Liverpool I would kick them out the house." This shows what Liverpool means to my family.
My younger brother Sajjad Khan, 12 years old was also on the show. He is also a crazy Liverpool fan.
Being massive supporters of the scousers, we obviously hate Manchester United. On the live show, me and my brother received a challenge by a friend of ours, Zaki Rizvi.
The challenge:

The challenge:
If we raise £1000 each for Sadqa Charity Day, we have to wear a Manchester United shirt for 24 hours, and post it on all social media for a week!
From the show, we learnt that charity is all about sacrifice. At the end of the day, all the money is for the Zahra trust to help orphans all around the world to reach a standard of living at which people deserve. We ourselves have witnessed orphans in third world countries dig through rubbish piles to find food to eat and it's not Islamic, it's not humane.
On the show I mentioned this Hadith:
“Do not feel ashamed if the amount of charity is small because to refuse the needy is an act of greater shame.”
— Imam Ali (a.s.), Nahjul Balagha
From the show, we learnt that charity is all about sacrifice. So for those of you who are able to donate generously, please do. However for those of you students we ask to just give to £1 or £2, please don't be ashamed, for giving a small amount is better than giving nothing.
