Story
Years go by and time just seems to fly, but memories remain. This year I am making a special memory the month my Grandad died in remembrance of my Grandad Peckham, skydiving for St Barnabas hospice to help them in being able to provide the care and support to people in Lincolnshire who need it most.
A Grandad; Gentle but tough, once you said it, that was enough. A Rough ride you went on, you were a definition of tough. Always leading your family and knowing you'd be there. Never wrong, always right you were a beaconing of light.
Dedicated and kind, loving your family was first on your mind. Another year has passed we love so true, this anniversary I deeply miss you. Dearest Grandad I wish you could see me today but as I make this special memory I will be thinking of you.
Any donation you can give to support me with this challenge I take in June, would be greatly appreciated. You will be making a difference to patients and families across Lincolnshire living with a life-limiting or terminal illness, ensuring St Barnabas can be there for them like there was for my Grandad.
