The other day I mentioned on my blog that I wanted to go on holiday, and some lovely people said that if I couldn't afford it, they would all chip in and help. Well, let's be honest, here, I don't really need it, do I?
So instead, I thought I'd set up a page for the Guardian/Médecins Sans Frontières appeal, so that if anyone wanted to, they could donate money here instead of, you know, socks or bathgel.
To find out more about where the money will go, you can click on the Guardian Banner above. There are interactive guides, pictures, audio and also bog standard articles (very good bog standard articles, obviously) to explain it all.
I don't mean to be cheeky. It just seemed like a good idea... Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to sponsor me: Médecins Sans Frontières UK will receive your money faster and, if you are a UK taxpayer, an extra 28% in tax will be added to your gift at no cost to you. Many thanks for your support. And happy christmas and everything.
