Paul Reilly: Hair donated on 31st August, donations still welcome!!

Paul Reilly: Donating my hair · 31 August 2021
Update: The target was met and then more donations are given, which is fantastic. Any extra money the Little Princess Trust gets is put towards cancer research aimed at children and young people. So I welcome further donations until the end of September when the money will be sent off and additional gift aid donations processed.
So please still donate if you can!!
THANK YOU SO MUCH!!

During the pandemic like many of us, we could not get our hair cut due to lockdowns. I was one of them and took the opportunity to grow my hair out. Over time I was getting hints to get it cut but I wanted to keep on growing it. Then I thought what if I can donate my hair? and I looked into it with a bit of research and found the Little Princess Trust. I was impressed with their drive to help restore 'confidence and identity' to a child with cancer by giving them a custom wig for free. I am all for this and hope my hair can make a difference.
As of 28th July 2021, my hair length is 36 cm (14 inches), the minimum that the charity asks is 18cm (7 inches) but the preferred length is at least 30cm (12 inches). I want to grow as much as I can for the charity so I have given myself an extra month of hair growth to donate as much as I can.
Headmasters, the salon chain, has partnered with the Little Princess Trust to provide free haircuts for donations that are at least 12 inches. So there are no extra costs for me to get the cut, all the hair and money raised will go straight to the Little Princess Trust which is fantastic. I have already booked an appointment at my nearest Headmasters for the cut, the afternoon of the 31st August 2021!!
This is where you come in, making a wig is not cheap and my hair can only go so far to help. I would like donations to help the charity further.
Here’s how your donations help:
So £550 is the target, I have made this page on JustGiving so 100% of donations go to the Little Princess Trust. It is easy to donate and plus you can Gift Aid donations to help raise more money, which is easy to do and I highly recommend it.
That's all from me, below is a message from the charity.
Thank you in advance for your donation.
