As some may know, we are partaking in the 2018 Swimathon hosted by Cancer Research UK, Marie Curie & The Swimathon Foundation. Swimathon is the world's largest annual fundraising swim, so we are immensely excited to be involved.

We chose to take part in this event when we learned of two of our student’s whose mother recently passed away from cancer. We believe it is our responsibility to be there for our students during their highs and lows. We want to support our Little Hands Family, and that is why we are going to swim our hearts out this April. We would love if you would join us.

We would like to personally invite you to join our LHD Swimathon team, as well as encourage you to take a look at our JustGiving page. We want to get as many people involved as possible.  Together, we hope to achieve our goal of £300, as well as have loads of fun.

Cancer Research UK and Marie Curie are teaming up and heading down to the pool for Swimathon 2018 – thousands of swimmers, two great causes, one big charity challenge.

Cancer Research UK, the world’s leading cancer charity dedicated to saving lives through research, will be involved in Swimathon for the first time. 

Marie Curie, the UK’s leading charity for people with any terminal illness and their families, has been Swimathon's charity partner ten times since it launched in 1986 and has raised over £17 million for the charity through the event during that time. 

By taking part in the world’s biggest fundraising swimming event you will be fundraising for two incredible causes.
