Story

Joshua and Chloe’s story :

My name is Joshua and I am 4 years old.  Last week me and my sister made birthday cards for Captain Tom at school.  My Mummy works at a hospital so we still get to go to school for two days a week.  Today we went for our daily exercise and I said to Mummy “I want to be like Captain Tom and make lots of pounds to help people!”   Mummy was very surprised as we hadn’t been talking about it on our walk, I’d thought about it all by myself.  I said maybe I could run one hundred times around the garden but then we thought of different ideas that might be more challenging! I wanted to do some running so me and my sister who is 9 chose to run a mile a day for 26 consecutive days.  We will run from our house, past our school, around the back of our school and back home and we are determined to do it every day  whatever the weather!  We would love to raise money to help people who are poorly and can’t get better and to help their families.  These special places do not have enough money to run as the coronavirus has cancelled lots of their fund-raising events.  If you can , please help us raise “as many pounds” as possible! Thankyou so much, lots of love, Joshua and Chloe xx
